Hal Oswalt, President & CEO
Hal has an extensive background as both banker and management consultant with particular expertise in strategic planning, cost management, process value analysis and organizational change management. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of community banks in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Prior to joining Brintech, Hal served as Managing Director of another major national consulting firm. Hal holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin 's Graduate School of Banking.
Sean Clark, Director of Information Security Services
Sean has extensive training dealing with sensitive security issues and evaluating and establishing protected network systems. He built his experience during two tours with the US Navy and as a security executive for two Fortune 500 firms. Sean developed Brintech’s bank-specific security offerings, and he holds a CISSP security certification, is a member of InfraGuard, and attends regular security conferences hosted by MIS Training Institute and CSI (Computer Security Institute).
Geri Forehand, Director of Strategic Services
Geri Forehand is a Certified Professional Consultant to Management and serves as Director of Strategic Services for Brintech. Prior to joining Brintech, he was Director of Planning and Development for a leading financial institution consulting firm. With more than 30 years of financial institution experience, Geri focuses on strategic planning, capital planning, succession planning, profit planning, performance measurement and executive compensation. Geri holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University. He has completed the Directors’ Education Institute at Duke University and is a Fellow of the National Institute of Credit. In 2007, he completed a continuing education program entitled "Reinventing Your Business Strategy" and has been awarded a certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Business Management.
John Matheny, Director of Retail & Marketing Services
John has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, business planning and strategic planning. He built his sales and marketing experience with a Fortune 500 firm before moving into the banking industry in the early 1980s. In his work as both banker and consultant, he has developed and implemented marketing strategies and tactics, and he has delivered marketing and market analysis services. John holds a Business degree from Ohio University and is a graduate of General Electric’s Marketing Training Program. He completed graduate work in Marketing at NYU and holds a Certificate of Completion from the Wharton School’s Financial Management Program for Non-Financial Executives.
Ken Proctor, Director of Risk Management
During his 30 year professional banking and consulting career, Ken has served as an internal consultant with a major regional bank, held responsible management positions in the auditing departments of two southeastern regional commercial banks, and worked as a public accountant. He created the Risk Management Practice area for Alex Sheshunoff Management Services, L.P. during his tenure with that firm. He has also served as a senior consultant with two international risk management consulting firms. Ken, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Certified Bank Auditor.
Christina Churchill, Performance Solutions Practice Manager
In her role as Performance Solutions Practice Manager, Christina has been an integral part of developing Brintech's industry leading Enterprise Risk Management toolset, including bPAR. Prior to joining Brintech, Christina was the Manager of Management Reporting at a leading global firm in electrical energy storage solutions, responsible for all facets of the North American, Australasian and Pacific Rim financial reporting systems. Christina began her career with Hyperion Enterprise. She graduated from Walsh University with a B.A. in Accounting and is currently pursuing her MBA in Information Systems at Georgia State University.
Susan Connor, Marketing Communications Manager
Susan has primary responsibility for all marketing and communications efforts that promote the company and its products within the financial services industry. Prior to joining Brintech, Susan worked with another financial services consulting firm where she worked with a team to develop and manage a series of community banker educational programs that served more than 450 banks across the country. She also served as Advisory Board Liaison for the Executive Banking Institute. She holds a BA from Kennesaw State University and an MA and PhD from the University of North Texas.
Margie Lutz, Office Manager
In her role as Office Manager and Controller, Margie oversees the day-to-day operations of the New Smyrna Beach office, including organizing client and staff contacts as well as managing accounts payable and receivable. Since joining Brintech in 2004, Margie has streamlined business operations at Brintech and has upgraded many previously manual functions to electronic status. Prior to joining the Brintech team, Margie was Assistant Vice President / Branch Support Analyst at a national bank in Jacksonville, Florida and Vice President / BSA Compliance Officer with another regional Florida bank. Margie has extensive bank training with Bank Administration Institute.
